Founder & CMO of mummyness Dr. Preeti Gangan (IBCLC, DCH, MBBS) has studied Pediatrics and  is a  Lactation Consultant who is perhaps the first person in Mumbai to be certified as a Lactation Consultant by the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners, Virginia, USA in the year 2008.

 

Dr. Preeti Gangan has completed her MBBS from the prestigious Seth G S Medical College & KEM Hospital, and further completed her post graduation in Pediatrics (DCH)  from the same Seth G S Medical College & KEM Hospital Mumbai.

 

She has an experience of more than 18 years in Pediatrics and has conducted numerous Lactation, Breastfeeding, Pediatric &  Infant nutrition training workshops for staff nurses of various hospitals of Mumbai, in association with Medela AG Germany

 

She has worked with Breastfeeding Promotion Network of India (Maharashtra) conducting various breastfeeding workshops.

 

Presented the topic - Breastfeeding Culture Worldwide: India during GOLD Online Lactation Conference 2009

 

She has helped many nursing mothers to successfully breastfeed their babies and also guides mothers with respect to new born and child care.

 

Over and above all she is a mother who has herself been through all the ups and downs of motherhood.
